UNBC Undergraduate Student Centre

This project comprises the renovation and conversion of a 1868m² fitness centre to a new Student Centre for UNBC’s Undergraduate Student Society. Included in the project scope are the Northern Undergraduate Student Society executive offices and board room, space for student clubs, the CFUR radio station, the Over the Edge student newspaper office, the Public Interest Research Group study hall, student lounges, an events space, and a student pub.

As a 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games viewing venue, the project received $200,000 of funding from the Olympic Live Sites Program and incorporates sophisticated live site-viewing equipment. The facility is open to all members of the university and the Prince George community.
