College of the Rockies Pinnacle Hall

The design of the Trades Building focused on optimizing flexibility for change over the life of the building. For this reason, the Heavy Duty Mechanics and Automotive shops were designed as one large adaptable space. In addition, one portion of the building has been designed to take a second storey.

Siting of the Trades Building allowed for the addition of other trades facilities, and considered solar orientation, aesthetics and the ease of both pedestrian and vehicle access.
