Salmon Arm Law Courts and Municipal Hall
Constructed out of mainly cast-in-place concrete and large glulam beams, this two-story multi-use civic landmark building contains the Municipal offices, law courts, offices of the Attorney General and Probation Services. The site was planned and developed in conjunction with the adjacent civic park and is a major focal point for the community.
Designed to post-disaster seismic standards the facility features sustainable solutions such as the use of wood, a geothermal system, daylighting strategies, and natural materials to enhance indoor air quality. This project is a collaboration between KMBR and Bernd Hermanski Architect Inc.
