Anne Roberts Young Elementary School + Daycare

KMBR worked on the new Anne Roberts Young Elementary School from Project Definition through to Post Occupancy, following the success design + delivery of the Margaret Ma Murray Community School, also in Fort St. John. To save on schedule and budget, the team used the Margaret Ma Murray school as a template design to expedite this important project for SD 60.  The school opened in September 2020.

The two-storey facility includes an approximately 260 SM for child care and before-and after school care, as well as multi-purpose spaces for community use.

The school and daycare were designed as LEED Gold equivalent.
