Westview Elementary School

This state-of-the-art elementary school is an attractive and functional expression of Ministry planning principles, Neighbourhood Learning Centre components, educational program and aspirations, sustainability and KMBR’s design philosophy. This high performance, LEED® Gold Certified, 21st century learning environment features generous glazing and natural daylighting to over 90% of spaces, early learning program space, multi-purpose spaces, and a secondary school sized gymnasium. The student commons is a light-filled, radial atrium, which forms the social heart of the school and fosters a variety of social and collaborative activities.
