Sullivan Elementary Addition

The 1949 school had been incrementally expanded several times over the years and had a disjointed feel. Its second floor was isolated from the rest of the school.

To meet enrollment needs, KMBR designed a 2-story addition that added 8 classrooms and a multipurpose room, and doubled the size of the gymnasium. We designed around a new atrium that provides plenty of natural daylight and fosters a sense of community.
