Prince George Public Safety and Operations Building

KMBR provided architectural services for the new public safety building and emergency operations centre in Prince George.

Completed in 2021, the wood-frame building meets post-disaster requirements. Other features include training facilities, a tech shop for one fire truck, a call dispatch room that is staffed 24/7, offices, a meeting room, a kitchen, a staff room, and a server room. The building is designed to meet high energy efficiency standards and high security standards, which was key for this user group.
