Hope Centre Academic Hub
Utilizing 603 m2 of shell space on Level 2 of the Robert H. N. Ho Centre for Psychiatry and Education (HOpe Centre) at Lions Gate Hospital (LGH), the Academic Hub Project is designed to accommodate collaboration and shared learning within an open and transparent 21st Century learning environment.
Encompassing academic research, professional practice and clinical education, aboriginal health, and a “knowledge transfer commons,” the facility provides shared support spaces and a flexible and visually connected work environment that fosters interaction and interdisciplinary discourse among staff and students. The space is located adjacent to the UBC Faculty of Medicine and is designed to attract staff and students from the entire LGH campus.
