Our Lady of Perpetual Help School – Classroom Wing Replacement

The project consists of the construction of a new two-storey classroom wing that replaces an existing 6-classroom wing that had reached the end of its service life. The new wing contains eight classrooms to accommodate Kindergarten and Grades 1 through 4. Articulated in the design is an enhanced learning environment conducive to the 21st century learning process. The building is designed in accordance with best practices for green strategies including solar orientation, day-lighting strategies, views, energy efficiency, water and resource efficiency, and indoor environmental quality. The new wing is designed as a 100% wood structure with an innovative engineered timber and laminated plank floor and roof system.
