City Centre Community Health Centre
The Community Health Centre, located at 1128 Hornby Street in Vancouver, replaces the services previously offered at the Three Bridges Community Health Centre. The larger 39,600 SF space allows health-care providers to see more clients and work side-by-side with other health-care teams to better coordinate care. The new Centre will also be the new home for the WestEnd Mental Health Team, bringing even more services under one roof with a more integrated, team-based model of care. It enables Vancouver Coastal Health to better meet the current and future needs of the community, especially the frail, elderly, chronically ill and those struggling with mental health and substance use challenges.
KMBR provided design and construction oversight as well as interior design services. The project was completed in collaboration with Gerry Sportack, Architect AIBC.
