This 39-unit apartment complex is situated at the corner of Johnson St. & Glen Dr. in Coquitlam. Hoy Creek defines the north property line and posed a great challenge for below grade work as well as site design. In response to and protection of the natural environment, the design brought the parkade above grade, and urban riparian management standards were applied, (The Riparian Areas Regulation developed by the Ministry of Environment) providing protection of the features, functions, and conditions that are vital in the natural maintenance of stream health and productivity.
