Yarrow Elementary School
Chilliwack (SD #33), British Columbia

In December 2008 School District #33 and the Ministry of Education entered into Project Agreements to replace the Yarrow Elementary School. The result was a design-build competition of which KMBR was the winning proponent. Yarrow Elementary School accommodates 275 students grades one to six plus 200 kindergarten (5 classrooms). The new elementary School will feature space to accommodate programs approved under the Neighbourhoods of Learning initiative and elements that will establish it as a community school. Yarrow Elementary is designed and registered to achieve LEED® Gold certification.
