This multi-service facility integrates a diversity of health agencies and programs, including public health, continuing care, alcohol and drug treatment, mental health, home support services, adult day services, relocated physiotherapy and dietary programs, a hospice and red cross. The 39-bed Long Term Care Home combined with a complex expansion program to an existing acute care hospital required an unprecedented degree of integration and sharing among the various stakeholders.
