Royal Inland Hospital Master Planning
Kamloops, British Columbia
This project involves master planning to define the future role and scope of services and programs at Royal Inland Hospital (RIH). Following a full site and existing facilities assessment and analysis, a comprehensive Master Plan Program was developed in alignment with the City of Kamloops Official Community Plan:
- Providing recommendations for the next 5 years (2016/2017); 10 years (2021/2022); and 15 years (2026/2027)
space requirements by department;
- Identifying the functional components of RIH and provide gross area (space) estimates, location criteria and block
schematic drawings for each component;
- Establishing a framework for future development, responding to the long-term change and phasing timelines for the development of each component on site.
This project is in association with the Farrow Partnership.
