Collingwood School: Campus Master Plan

Collingwood School Morven Campus redevelopment consists of demolition of the existing Glenmore Wing 3959 m² built in the 1950's, demolition of the existing concrete parkade and cafeteria (1309 m²) built in 1992, demolition of existing 4 portable block, renovation to the existing Parents Wing (4834 m²) built in 1989, and a 7,000 m² new addition to be constructed in the location of the existing playfield while the school remains fully operational. The Parents' Wing renovation will include updated science labs, a new middle and senior years art department, insertion of a new drama theatre and dance studio into the existing gym volume, new fitness facilities and change/dressing rooms and new centrally located middle years learning commons nodes on the main and second floor.

The major addition will include 2 levels of underground parking, a gymnasium and change rooms, an administration wing on the lower level, a senior years academic wing on the upper level connected to the existing Parents' Wing via a central stair and bridge passing the library located over the new Atrium, Cafeteria and locker area.
