Bridgeport Fire Hall No. 3

The new Bridgeport Fire hall No. 3 is designed to be a state-of-the-art fire and rescue facility meeting post-disaster seismic standards, and an advanced level of sustainable design. The new fire hall is designed to LEED® Gold standards.
The new fire hall includes two apparatus bays, an eight-bed gender-neutral dormitory, captains’ quarters, showers and lockers, fitness room, kitchen/dining area and lounge, as well as all necessary ancillary functions required for a modern fire hall. A full hose tower and training tower will also be provided.
Additional program components were investigated early on in the design and deemed feasible to be added to the program. These include Emergency Vehicle Tech., Training, and a six-bay ambulance station.
