Bastion Place Multi-Level Care Home

Bastion Place accommodates intermediate, special and extended care patients. The facility operates with a continuum of care such that an increased need for care on the part of a resident does not necessitate a move to a different facility. Flexibility in the design allows easier transitions for residents between levels of care, and accommodates fluctuations in the proportion of residents within the three levels.

Circulation between floor levels occurs centrally with both public and service elevators, and a skylit glazed stairwell. The main entry features an inviting open “veranda” that overlooks Shuswap Lake and outdoor activity areas.
